Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. If you create a link, you are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

What you can say

We do not read or filter messages before they are delivered. People can speak freely here, and that freedom has limits. You must not use DropAsecret to:

• threaten anyone or encourage them to harm themselves;
• harass, stalk or bully someone;
• send sexual content to, or about, anyone under 18;
• share someone’s private information without their consent;
• pretend to be a specific real person in order to deceive;
• send spam or run automated tools against the service;
• do anything that is against the law where you live.

Being anonymous to another user does not put you beyond the law. See the privacy page for what we hold and when we may have to disclose it.

Reports and enforcement

Either person in a conversation can report it. We review reports and may remove content, close conversations, block a sender or suspend an account when these terms are broken. Where we believe someone is in serious danger, we may contact the relevant authorities.

Your controls

If you own a link, you decide what reaches you: you can pause your link, filter words, block a sender without learning who they are, close a conversation, or delete it.

Your content

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the other person in the conversation, which is what the service is for. If you share a message as an image, you are responsible for where you post it.

The service

DropAsecret is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and secure, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or that messages will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what other users send you or for losses that result from using the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use DropAsecret after a change means you accept it.
